What we do

The Solar Power Systems Professional Training and Certification Program consists of a series of workshops  designed  to  offer  individuals  an opportunity  to  set  themselves  apart  with  the essential knowledge and skills to become a certified  professional  in  the  growing  worldwide 

solar  power  industry. This program gives  participants  the  training necessary to confidently complete job related tasks and become entrepreneurs. We've changed our program to adapt to the needs of the industry.

The new course is divided into three (3) parts

Each of the individual workshops and their identification codes are described as follows:

 PV Design 1 –  Design and Sizing of Solar Systems.

 PV ELP 1       -   Economics, Logistics and Planning.

 PV EOM 1     –  Equipment, Operations and Maintenance. 

Upon successful completion of these workshops:

• Participants will receive a certificate.
• Participants will be qualified and certified to install Eco-Sun products.
• Participants will be have the knowledge to sit the E.T.A. PVI Level 1 Exam.

Cost for Each Workshop:    $1000

Total Cost of Course:            $3000

Time for Each Workshop: 2 weeks

Total Time for Course:       6 weeks

 S.P.I.A.  Solar Power Systems Training and certification program is open to anyone interested

 in becoming a  professional with the solar industry in Trinidad and Tobago. However, it is highly recommended Licensed Wiremen, Electricians, Technicians, Air Condition Unit Installers, and Security System Installers should take this course.

These comprehensive workshops are recommended for persons currently working or interested in working in the solar industry, or anyone who would like to know how solar energy systems works.

Individuals in  fields of  work  such  as;  Agriculture, Business Management, Craftsmanship, Engineering, Manufacturing, Tourism, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Insurance can benefit greatly from this course.

The ECO SUN One Day Workshop.  TT$650.00

Designed with the common man or weekend warrior in mind, who isn't interested in becoming a professional, but wants to make informed purchasing decisions. You would learn;

• Your rights and risks when importing or purchasing.
• Energy efficient considerations for your home.
• Confidence in choosing the right Solar Product/System.

You will also see examples of products and systems that are available in Trinidad & Tobago and receive general information on solar system designs based on your load detail.
